Sep 06, 2024Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…
Today’s read is about 6-8 minutes. Post-read pondering not included. As a Gen X myself I related strongly with this article. The only rule was to come home when the street lights turned on. I’ll never suggest to someone else how to parent their kids, but I do see the effects of parenting on people joining the workforce now, both good and bad. What are your thoughts on this?
Last week’s riddle question and answer; After a night of partying with her friends, a woman arrives home and finds that she cannot enter the house. She’s sure that she’s at the right home, but she can’t get inside. Why not? Her friends had responsibly taken her car keys off her earlier in the night, and her house key was with them. (thank you to the honest responder who admitted they had been in this situation, and just lost their key – also a good answer…)
This week’s riddle is; A man is stranded on a deserted island. There are no means of transportation available to him anywhere, yet he somehow manages to escape without swimming away or anyone coming to the island to rescue him. How did he do it?
